  I grew up playing Anya, it’s in my bloodline, but when I came of age and decided to be open about my lifestyle as a Same Gender Loving man, my life changed because I was no longer welcomed to play drums with my community.
  
  #AnyaCapella Pt. 1 is a collection of some sacred moments creating the sounds of Anya using my body and voice despite the bigotry and injustices against the LGBT members of Yoruba, Lukumi communities.
  
  This is my fight song, my prayer for the LgBt community and anyone who has ever been oppressed by people & socio-political systems of hatred.
